A recent find of four issues of the ‘ADDRAG’, a magazine produced by Adders boys. Dated 1984-'85 and illustrated front and back, the contents cover a wide range of topics - stories, poetry, film reviews, House retrospect and comments on teaching staff apparel! There is a history of U2, a three-part serial entitled ‘Artificial Misunderstandings’ written by C.J.M. and much more.
In the June 1984 issue there is a short article about Life on a Kibbutz, which makes interesting reading. It details the routine of daily life and work, the very early starts, the benefits of the sunshine and the Olympic size pool but only two miles from Lebanon and the reminders of the troubles with air raid shelters, barbed wire fencing and the Kibbutz armoury, capable of equipping two hundred people.
