Alma Duncan Art 1960-1995

                                                                  Two lovely, quirky sketches by Alma Duncan (Art Staff 1960-1995).

                                        The first shows members of the Girls’ School Staff – whose subjects included P.E., Mathematics and Art.

                                                                           The second shows a Lacrosse match ‘in action’.

                        A tea-towel with lacrosse design by Alma Duncan to commemorate a visit from the U.S.W.L.A. Touring Team of 1964. 

                                                    The tea towel is on display on the corridor leading to the Science block at Kings.

                                 The American team played against the Gt.B.East at Haslam Field, followed by a meal and a sing-song at the School.
