With all the latest technology to bring you instant news and pictures of the latest school productions, here’s a reminder of how the School produced in the ‘olden days’ of the ‘60s, March 1965 to be precise. Swifts House chose to put on The Ghost Train by Arnold Ridley, originally written in the 1920s. The invitations and programmes were designed by the boys and an account of the play and cast, accompanied by photographs, takes up six pages of the House Book. A criticism by one of the Masters picks up on the highs and lows, after the last curtain call!
To top it off, a 78 RPM, LP recorded the entire production. I wonder how many copies were sold?
